"Fińczycy"

Dzięki za linki z ustaleniami, których kwestionować nie zamierzam. Wyrażę jednak opinię, iż Rada Języka Polskiego zamiast rozsądnie upraszczać, często komplikuje (i tak dostatecznie zawiłe) reguły polszczyzny. Pewnie niedługo zaakceptuje również formy: "Norwedzy" i "Holendrowie". :)

Kolejność odznaczeń

Czy zamiast kolejności alfabetycznej nie należałoby ułożyć odznaczeń w kolejności starszeństwa, a dopiero tam gdzie starszeństwo nie jest znane lub określone (np. przy odznaczeniach organizacyjnych) zastosować kolejność alfabetyczną? Prefiksy przed kodami odznaczeń

Chciałbym poddać pod dyskusję ewentualność zamiany istniejących kodów odznaczeń, kodami poprzedzonymi dwuliterowym prefiksem danego państwa. Kody nowo dodawanych odznaczeń posiadają taki prefiks, jednak te starsze nie. Przy kilku setkach szablonów poświęconych odznaczeniom, kody te są mało czytelne. Chodzi o to, aby zmiana kodów nie wpłynęła na szablony już użyte w hasłach. Najlepiej byłoby stworzyć bota, który zamieniałby kody w hasłach, ale musiałby to zrobić administrator - redaktor, czy tym bardziej zwykły autor haseł nie mają takiej możliwości. Na dzień dzisiejszy można zrobić dwie rzeczy:

1. pozostawić stare szablony bez zmian - nie byłyby one już używane przy nowych wpisach - wadą takiego rozwiązania jest to, że stare szablony nie byłyby opisane;

2. utworzyć nowe szablony z nowymi kodami, natomiast przy starych umieścić funkcję redirect (funkcja działa również przy szablonach - sprawdziłem).

Template/Lua Module

Hi, Please excuse me joining in here in English, but I am reading the translated Polish and don't speak it. I have been working on the medals, orders and decorations on the English Wikipedia for a long time. Recently, I decided to re-do everything using Lua and wrote a module to make it work. I was completely unaware of all the work that you guys had done here.

There is plenty of synergy between what you have done and what I am doing, and I fully intend to move all the information you guys have here across to my database/module. I am not terribly sure how well this will work "cross-wiki" so will experiment. You guys have for example

With my module that would be

• {{MilAward Desc|AGOOMGC}} which unfortunately doesn't seem to work here. I see there is a long discussion about this on phabricator, that has been going since 2006.

My templates/Module have many options and can have many more, all reading from the same database. One template to in the darkness bind them ;-)

I suppose the only thing we can do is to duplicate the module and template and then copy the database across. I'm willing to do that if there is interest... I would just have to ensure I kept the copies in sync.

My templates all access the same database, but do different things with the data. You can take a look at the "home" template, and make sure to check out the talk page, then check out the Desc template (which displays the ribbon together with the description), the Ribbon template which displays the Ribbon only (but linked to the correct page) and the Stack template which creates a row of ribbons when provided with the codes as parameters.

Then look at the actual module and the Database.
